Zedic and the Crimson Born is a fantastic science fiction short-film which is director by Dan O’Connor. This film is his first work which is 8 minutes in length. This short film is an experiment by maker’s attraction with ancient alien concepts. The story of the film was written by Karen Buckton and the theme of the film was made by Dan O’Connor.
Main characters of this film are Zedic and Nick Maiden. Zedic is a powerful member of advanced alien species from a planet named Yetra and Nick is a sensitive and psychic young man. Nick always felt there was roughly diverse about himself as he sometimes sees people with pink auras and has steady mental capabilities. Zedic let Nick to know that he is different from other people and he is one of the hybrid creatures originated from alien DNA.
The moving-picture show construct relies on the premise that Earth has been visited repeatedly by the Yetra species during human evolution, counting thousands of years ago thru the period of big monoliths and many years ago during the cultural Renaissance. These aliens have determined that they need to incorporate some of their own DNA into that of designated humans to advance man to a higher level of consciousness.
This DNA is artificially designed to create it compatible with the human makeup. Whereas the aim is to rescue humans from war, starvation and alternative suffering, there’s a far deeper reason for this intervention aside from the advantage of grouping. Their goal in making these hybrids is not only to protect humans from themselves, however to avoid wasting the complete universe from an evil force which feeds on negativity. Basically this is a story of evil verses good. Within a short span of time this film has great plot and cinematography which is appreciable.
